Biggest Oct 1 background performance to be held

A background performance involving 80,000 primary and middle school students will be held at the Tian'anmen Square in the center of Beijing for the celebration of the 60th anniversay of the People's Republic of China, Xinhuanet reported Thursday.

The background performance will include 41 pictures?-- the most pictures ever shown in the history of New China's National Day celebrations, the report said.
