Hu Chunhua elected Guangdong CPC chief

GUANGZHOU -- Hu Chunhua was elected secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Guangdong Provincial Committee on Friday.
Hu was elected to the post at the first plenary session of the 12th CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee.
Hu, born in April 1963, has been serving as Guangdong CPC chief since December 2012.
