Music for a cause in Beijing

A benefit concert, featuring the original songs of four singers and bands, took place at Lang Park Vintage in CBD Beijing on Sept 16. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Organized by the One Way Street Foundation, the show aims to facilitate pre-school education for children in rural China.

All sales income will be donated to 5 nursery schools in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. For every ticket sold, one picture book will be purchased by the foundation.

By Sept 18, the organization has received over 100,000 yuan ($15,270) through ticket sales, online crowdfunding and webcasting platforms.
