Japan:
The third Monday in September each year is the annual Respect for the Aged Day in Japan. During this day, various activities are held to show care for the elderly, such as arranging health examinations, renovating houses, presenting gifts and providing comforts. The elderly will take part in activities, according to their hobbies.
