Tofu is a traditional Chinese food with a long history. It is said to have been created by Emperor Liu Bang during the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 24). Tofu in Tagalog is pronounced almost the same as tofu in Chinese. It has become one of the most well-known foods that originated from China.
