Driver helps elderly woman who cannot cross road
A video clip reveals a heartwarming scene that happened on a road in Pan'an county, Zhejiang province recently.
The video clip, released by China Central Television, shows that when an elderly woman waited in the middle of a road and tried to cross, vehicles did not stop for her.
Seeing the woman unable to cross the road after being ignored by seven vehicles in the fast lane, a driver in the outside lane acted. He turned his car left and blocked the fast lane, helping the woman cross the road.
Later, drivers of the seven vehicles that failed to yield to the woman were given a ticket by traffic police. As for the kindhearted driver, he was praised by the police for his helpful behavior, but was also criticized for his violation of traffic rules.
