Arxan city in bid to promote winter tourism resources

Representatives from Arxan city in Hinggan League, in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, recently attended the China International Health Tourism Forum in Beijing to promote its rich winter tourism resources.

Meanwhile, the annual China (Arxan) International Healthcare and Snow Festival Forum will kick off in Arxan on Jan 6 and run until March 30, with various events such as skiing performances, a snow motorcycle contest, winter activities for tourists and a photography contest.

The city is famous for its magnificent views, the Ice-free River that never freezes, and hot springs.

The city's temperature in winter is about 15-30 degrees Celsius below zero, and it is colder in the mountains.
