In 2015, Zhang Chaofan declined the offer of postgraduate study from Beijing Technology and Business University and set up a calligraphy and painting school in her hometown Changchun, capital of Jilin province.
In the past three years, she has provided free lessons to more than 200 disabled children, autistic children and children in poor families.
