Venture capital managers training program launched in Xi’an, Shaanxi province

A venture capital manager training program officially commenced on Sunday in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, attracting 50 practitioners from the field of venture capital as well as university teachers and students to be the first batch of trainees.

The tutorial group of the program was composed of over 30 frontline investors including Wang Ge, partner of Cash Capital Ltd. and Sun Hua, general manager of CAS Investment Management Co., Ltd. This training program planned to train 1,000 outstanding venture capital managers for Shaanxi province in the coming five years.

With the concept of upgrading cognition, case analysis and project-oriented training, the trainees will forge themselves into excellent investment managers through core modules such as investment tools, investment quality, investment practice and so forth.

The program was launched by the Shaanxi Venture Capital Association, Shaanxi Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd, Casstar Science and Technology Incubator Co., Ltd., Xike Angel Fund, and Innovative Industrial Belt around the Universities of Beilin District and Guantian Capital.

The program aimed to fundamentally solve the problem of talent shortages that restricted the development of financial investment industry in Shaanxi province, said Lu Daozhen, director of the Shaanxi Venture Capital Association.

Lin Yuan, chief of the Management Committee of Innovative Industrial Belt around the Universities of Beilin District, said that the district and the city need talents with creative thinking to support incubator construction and the construction of national technology transfer platform.
