Wang Qiang beats Raina at Jiangxi Open

NANCHANG, China -- China's Wang Qiang beat India's Ankita Raina 6-2, 6-1 to claim a first round victory at the 2018 WTA Jiangxi Open here on Monday.
The Chinese player won the match in 81 minutes. "I'm trying to adapt to the climate and hard surface. I am very happy with the win and ready to the 2nd round," Wang said.
In an all Chinese affair, Zhu Lin upset seventh-seeded Duan Yingying 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the second round.
Duan, who won the 2016 WTA Jiangxi Open singles title, still hasn't fully recovered from an injury.
Also on Monday, Russia's Gasparyan Margarita beat China's Xu Shilin 6-1, 6-4. China's Lu Jingjing beat Japan's Nara Kurumi 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.
