The development of all-for-one tourism in Zhejiang province has reached new heights, with a new emphasis on developing tourist facilities in some of the province's most remote rural areas.

The concept of all-for-one tourism was first mentioned in the Government Work Report at the fifth plenary session of 12th National People's Congress. The phrase proposes a focus on upgrading and integrating tourist resources, public services and government regulations and policies to boost overall social development by using tourism as a new engine for growth. 

Zhejiang was selected as a national demonstration place for all-for-one tourism last August, meaning the province has been plowing resources into its development.  

Last year, Zhejiang successfully built 2,236 A-level scenic villages and supported 100,000 farmers to start businesses relating to rural tourism. There are plans for the provincial tourism bureau to recognize another 2,000 A-level villages in hope of further developing all-for-one tourism in the province.

Additionally, in recent years, governments of all levels has released over 120 documents to promote the development of homestays in villages, ensuring basic standards are met, and improvements are done if deemed necessary.
