E-business thrives in Chinese county adjoining Vietnam

"I am truly happy to do business here and no longer need to worry that my products can not be sold with the new sales channel offered by e-commerce," said Xu Fuqiang, a head of a e-commerce company selling local sweet potato and sea duck eggs in the public service center.
"I can feel the strong e-business climate here. It not only brings good local and Vietnamese goods here, but also innovative and entrepreneurial talents," Xu added.
Dongxing is well placed to develop cross-border e-business due to its proximity to Vietnam and the available national policy that Chinese living in the border area can buy up to 8,000 yuan ($1,150) of Vietnamese goods every day without paying tariffs, which has resulted in mushrooming border transactions.
