LNG carrier leaks off China coast

JINAN -- A liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, registered in the Republic of Korea, leaked gas into sea waters near the Dongying port in East China's Shandong Province Saturday morning.
According to local government, the leakage happened around 10:30 am and efforts have been made to deal with the accident.
The government is monitoring the environment around the area.
