The US automaker sold nearly 1.57 million vehicles in Chinese market in the first half of 2019, declining 15 percent year-on-year.
Among GM brands in China, Cadillac delivered 111,207 vehicles, a 7.1 percent year-on-year increase; Buick 400,365 vehicles, a drop of 20.2 percent year-on-year, and Chevrolet 219,829 vehicles, down 16.1 percent year-on-year.
