On Sunday, a 70 meter long Chinese national flag slowly unfolded over the field at Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou at the opening of a Chinese Super League (CSL) game, awing nearly 50,000 spectators on the spot. All of them stood up, waving their own national flags in their hands, singing the national anthem and Ode to the Motherland, to pay their tributes.
China will soon celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China on Oct 1.
