As concern about the novel coronavirus in the UK increases, racism toward Chinese communities has been reported.
Last week, a female student was reportedly harassed by a group of three people for wearing a face mask when she was walking on the University of Sheffield campus.
Sheffield Chinese community leader Jerry Cheung said the virus should not be an excuse for racism, and urged students to speak out.
