China's top liquor brand Moutai profit up 16.7% in Q1

GUIYANG -- China's leading liquor maker Kweichow Moutai saw its net profit rise 16.69 percent year on year to 13.1 billion yuan ($1.85 billion) in the first quarter of 2020.
The company also said in its first-quarter earnings report that it generated operating revenue of 24.4 billion yuan, an annual increase of 12.76 percent.
