Top 10 carmakers in China by sales volume in August

In August, 2.12 million cars were produced, and 2.19 million cars were sold in China, up 6.3 percent and 11.6 percent, respectively, year-on-year, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said in a report on Sept 11.
According to the report, it was the fifth consecutive month that both production and sales registered an increase in Chinese automobile market. In terms of sale volume, the growth rate has remained above 10 percent for four straight months.
