Chinese mainland reports 15 new imported COVID-19 cases

BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland reported 15 new imported COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 3,858.
Five new imported cases were respectively reported in Shanghai and Shandong, three in Sichuan, and one each in Shanxi and Guangdong, the National Health Commission said in its daily report Monday.
A total of 3,609 imported cases had been discharged from hospitals after recovery while 249 remained hospitalized, including three in severe conditions, the commission said.
No deaths had been reported among imported cases.
