Numerous technological elements to show at the Science City AI Park
Chongqing- The first phase of the Terminus AI City project -AI Park, located in the Western (Chongqing) Science City of China, has been successfully capped and is scheduled to open in April this year.
Imagine a parking robot guiding your car to a parking space; each door can be automatically opened or closed with facial recognition; different types of robots appear by your side to offer smart temperature measurement, facial recognition, voice dialogue, facial payment, security checks, and a series of other services. This artificial smart city will spring up around us soon.
The Terminus AI City project launched last September with its target to create the first world-class AI City, also known as Cloud Valley, in Southwest China's Chongqing. Within the AI City, various solutions, including smart communities, smart fire protection, smart security, smart finance, and smart cultural tourism, are all packed into digital layers ready to be deployed in upgrading the target industries.
The AI City project is designed to be a data-driven intelligent body where 90% of software- and hardware-generated data will be well-analyzed and managed. Data generated at every node will become the driving force of the city. In simple terms, cities of the future will no longer grow old with time, as intelligent iterative upgrading can be realized through interconnection.
Specifically, AI PARK will build an artificial intelligence city sample with robot service scenes, new retail live scenes, and community intelligent security systems as the core. "Our next step is to enter the construction of multiple stages on intelligence, exhibition, and landscape," said Liu Hang, the on-site project leader of AI Park. By then, AI empowerment will cover more than 30 sub-scenarios, where technological elements can be seen everywhere at the Western (Chongqing) Science City.
According to Liu, as one of the Western (Chongqing) Science City's key construction projects, the AI PARK project started its primary construction last December. Under the premise of ensuring epidemic prevention and control and safety management, the construction was not stopped during the Spring Festival.
