In 2020, China and the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative worked together to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrated the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and achieved considerable results in many aspects, shining a hopeful light of recovery upon the world economy amid a severe recession under the pandemic.
