In Hainan province, the provincial history museum set up a special exhibition on the theme of The Red Flag Will Not Fall, portraying the solidarity between the local Party branch in Qiongya and the masses of the people in the arduous struggles during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the War of Liberation (1946-49). A steady stream of visitors came here to revisit the glorious 23 years of armed struggle in which the red flag had never fallen.
In Hong Kong, a large-scale rehearsal dance performance City Dance to Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China was held on May 29. The dance team composed of hundreds of Hong Kong citizens performed a number of pieces, including No Communist Party, No New China, Defense of Hong Kong and Dancing China.

The exhibitions and events connect the glorious history of a century-old Party and engrave a distinctive mark of the revolutionary spirit. Each red venue is a condensed history, a spiritual heritage, and plays an important role in displaying great achievements and consolidating the hearts and minds of the Party and the people. People come to learn revolutionary history, experience revolutionary culture, visit revolutionary sites, memorial halls, and museums. Red tourism is witnessing an unprecedented boom.
