Jetta marks 30 years of success in China

With Jetta rolled off the assembly line in Changchun, Jilin province in 1991, it lifted the curtain on China's private car market and became the first vehicle for countless families. Jetta started a new chapter in 2019 —becoming an independent brand, which also is Volkswagen's first independent brand to have originated from one of its models. In the past 30 years, Jetta has delivered cars to 4.6 million Chinese customers.
