Art competition launched to inspire artists in Greater Bay Area

Time Is On My Side, a competition intended as a launch pad for artists, was recently launched in Macao. Painters and photographers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are welcome to submit their works before Aug 28.

The competition will provide a stage for the gifted in the area to show their creativity, as well as present the diversity and vigor of local cultures.

The competition targets people aged between 18 and 45, and prize winners will be awarded a bonus between 25,000 and 100,000 yuan ($3,860-15,440).

A jury panel consisting of six experts from home and abroad will first select 100 entrants, which will be shown online. The final results will be announced in September, with an exhibition opened in Macao to show the works of the 24 winners.
