Beijing 2022 venue: National Alpine Skiing Center

Alpine skiing is known as “the pearl on the crown of the Winter Olympic Games”. The National Alpine Skiing Center, located in northwestern Beijing’s Yanqing district, has seven courses with large slopes which are extremely difficult to build.

More than 70 percent of the Yanqing district is mountainous. The region will play host to Alpine skiing, bobsleigh and luge competitions during the 2022 Games.
