Andrew Moody, a senior foreign editor at China Daily, kept the habit of writing a diary during his 13 years working in China.
His diaries offer us a glimpse into his love for China and his passion for interpreting the country to the rest of the world.
As a productive journalist, Moody wrote some 700 front-page stories for China Daily. He reported on many high-profile events, such as the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
For the last three years of his life, Moody suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Despite the physical pain, he kept working, until his last days.
