Yunnan records new locally transmitted asymptomatic case

Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture in Yunnan province reported a locally transmitted asymptomatic carrier of COVID-19 on Saturday, according to the National Health Commission.
Dehong in western Yunnan borders Myanmar in three sides, which poses challenges for epidemic control. It has seen several coronavirus outbreaks last year and this year.
On Saturday, Chinese mainland reported 24 new COVID-19 cases, all imported, as well as 13 imported asymptomatic carriers.
