Creativity competition themed on Beijing central axis comes to end
A cultural heritage inheritance and innovation competition themed on Beijing central axis concluded on Thursday.
The competition attracted more than 5,000 participants, who got involved in the competition from aspects of logo design scheme, revitalization of cultural relics, images or videos, personal presentation and cultural product design, expressing their passion for the central axis culture.
The competition was launched on Oct 25 and through collection, selection, assessment, review and final review, the winners' list has been decided and will be announced to the public later.
The participants' age ranged from six to 70, and many students majoring in architecture, design and multimedia fully used their creativity, fusing VR and AR technologies into their works.
The "Beijing Bank Cup" 2021 Beijing Central Axis Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Innovation Competition was sponsored by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage and World Heritage Application and Protection Office of Beijing Central Axis. A total of 15 series activities featuring cultural heritage lectures have been held so far, spreading the rich cultural connotation of central axis.
