Ancient catalpa trees come into full bloom

The two ancient catalpa trees in Sanfeng Qingliang Temple, Changshu, East China's Jiangsu province are in full bloom, with a profusion of lavender blossoms clinging to the twisting branches.

The trees, which account for two of the only four ancient catalpa trees in Jiangsu province, are 238 years old and over 30 meters tall. They are often considered to be the most beautiful catalpa trees in the Jiangnan area!
