Beijing Wtown offers a touch of Tunis

Beijing Wtown in the capital city's Miyun district joined the Tunis tourism bureau and offered an exotic experience for visitors on July 30.

Distinctive Tunisian elements were arranged in the water town and Tunisian food was prepared for guests to sample.

The event was intended to establish a culture and tourism exchange platform and had Chinese travelers get a taste of Tunisian culture under the foot of the Great Wall while Tunisian guests enjoyed Chinese culture.

The event was part of the town's efforts to speed up recovery of tourism in the summer.
