Barcelona claimed the top spot in Telegraph Travel's recent list about the best city on Earth to visit this year, followed by Sydney and Cape Town.
The list was released on April 28, and the Telegraph analyzed a wide range of data from a shortlist of 50 cities selected by Telegraph readers, along with selections from experts.
The criteria included factors such as the number of Unesco World Heritage Sites, air quality, green space, disabled access, and the number of Michelin-starred restaurants, practicality and cultural prowess.
