China's achievements in the manufacturing industry are being showcased at the World Manufacturing Convention in Hefei, East China's Anhui province.
Themed "Creating a beautiful world with manufacturing," the four-day event highlights the latest products, technologies and applications in the manufacturing sector.
With a total exhibition area of 59,000 square meters, the event features nearly 40 activities including exhibitions, seminars and other activities from Sept 20-23.
Over 640 enterprises are exhibiting their products at the convention, and 568 projects with a total investment worth 367.7 billion yuan ($52.9 billion) are expected to be signed during the event, Xinhua reported citing the organizer.
