Frontline workers from the China Railway No 5 Engineering Group Co Ltd actively learned the report delivered Sunday to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China through newspapers, mobile phones and other means.

Li Ji, an engineer of shield tunneling at the China Railway No 5 Engineering Group said: "As a grassroots technical worker, I felt inspired and excited after listening to the report".

"I am inspired by the great achievements made in the past five years and the grand blueprint drawn for the next five years," Li said.

He was also inspired by the expression that "we must regard science and technology as our primary productive force, talent as our primary resource and innovation as our primary driver of growth".

"It pointed out a direction for me to follow. I will continue to learn and improve myself to follow up with cutting-edge technological innovations, solve technical problems in shield tunneling and cultivate more technical talents," he said.
