Bullet trains arrive in cold Heilongjiang

With a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the trains are resistant to low temperatures, ice and snow and can run normally in conditions as cold as -40 C. They represent a breakthrough in high-speed rail that the country develped independently. The Fuxing intelligent bullet train has been able to meet the needs of high-speed operation under many different environmental conditions, the group said.

The interior of the trains have intelligent facilities that can provide convenience to passengers, such as barrier-free carriages with wider passage doors, barrier-free toilets and wheelchair storage areas and braille signs.

Using frequency conversion technology, the air conditioning system can provide more accurate temperature regulation with less noise and more comfort.

All seats are optimized based on human factors and include USB charging ports.
