With the five-day May Day holiday fast approaching, people's demand for tourism is accelerating at a similar pace.

According to online travel platform Ctrip, domestic travel bookings for the upcoming holiday period have surged 390 percent year-on-year, and domestic air ticket bookings have jumped 292 percent. Among domestic tourism orders, the "post-80s" generation accounted for 41 percent.
