See the Great Wall at night
The Badaling Great Wall will be open for night visits, with a limited capacity of 3,500 people per night, starting on Friday. The move follows upgrades and renovations, Badaling Tourism Group said.
Visitors can take in different views of the Great Wall from far away, up close and in between. Additionally, the site will offer new experiences, such as a tea- and horse-themed exhibition, an immersive show and a youth explorer program.
Badaling Tourism Group plans to enrich the cultural content of the site and promote the local economy through innovative ideas and quality cultural experiences.
During the upcoming May Day holiday, the group will launch eight themed tours, including a night tour and a stargazing barbecue tour. A new starry sky theme park will also open during the holiday period with food, drink and performances.
Visitors need to make online reservation before visiting.
