University to launch GPT-4 on campus in Guangzhou

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) launched GPT-4 and ChatGPT services to its staff and students on Monday.

The services are accessible through the university's intranet. The regulation on the management of the services are in place to ensure that they truly benefit scientific research, teaching and administration.

The university, which was launched in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, last year, will start enrolling undergraduate students later this year, with one of the three initial disciplines being artificial intelligence.
