Messe Frankfurt to hold over 40 exhibitions in China

Messe Frankfurt GmbH, one of the world's largest trade fair and event organizers by sales revenue, will hold more than 40 business exhibitions in the Chinese mainland next year, said a senior executive.

China's fast-growing exhibition economy, ongoing green transformation, domestic companies' willingness to expand global market and the tangible benefits generated by the mega Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership pact offer many opportunities, said Wendy Wen, managing director of Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Ltd.

Highlighting that businesses from industries such as auto parts, new energy vehicles, new materials, metallurgy, trade in services, garment and textile are seeing surging demand to expand sales and reinforce their brand awareness via participating in various business exhibitions, Wen said Messe Frankfurt will deploy more resource and technology solution to hold trade fairs in both the Chinese mainland and the Asia-Pacific next year.

Speaking at the autumn edition of the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics in late August, Wen said that leveraging its diversity and global reach, this trade fair stands as the premier marketplace for industry players worldwide to boost their business opportunities and explore the latest fashion trends and innovations.

"Following the success of the previous spring edition, we are prepared to deliver the most extensive platform globally, catering to visitors with diverse sourcing needs, including sustainable and specialty fabrics, as well as international and top-tier functional materials," she said.

Nearly 4,000 international and domestic exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, including Argentina, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Thailand, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States, gathered at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) to conduct business activities and exchange views during the grand event.

High-quality fabrics and accessories were displayed in the 240,000 square meters hall space, with nine thematic halls designated to meet various sourcing needs.

Supported by 2,500 employees at more than 30 locations across the world, the services provided by Messe Frankfurt include renting exhibition grounds, trade fair construction and marketing, personnel and food services.

The Frankfurt-based group will organize a number of trade fairs and events in the Chinese mainland, including the autumn edition of China (Shenzhen) Cross Border E-Commerce Fair in mid-September, Music China in October and Paperworld China in November in Shanghai, this year.
