It should serve as a cultural oasis in our lives, a grand classroom for our learning and an encyclopedia for our reading", Shan Jixiang, chairman of China Cultural Relics Academy, and director of the Academic Committee of the Palace Museum, said.
"These students, these children growing up in the museum will undoubtedly become the generation that cherishes museums and holds a deep understanding of our splendid Chinese traditional culture."
