Beijing hosts HK talents for a tour of charm and cooperation

The first "Hong Kong Talents' Visit to Beijing" was successfully held in Beijing recently.

The tour, jointly hosted by the Beijing Overseas Talents Center and the Hong Kong Alumni Association of Beijing Universities, invited 27 outstanding young scholars from the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Education University of Hong Kong.

The delegation visited various institutions and places in Beijing, including Peking University, the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Huairou, Platform of Advanced Photon Source Technology R&D, Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center, the Beijing Graphene Research Institute, and Baidu Group. The tour offered them a closer look at China's advanced technologies and major development platforms and explore avenues for talent exchange and cooperation.

The delegation also visited special exhibitions at the Capital Museum, the National Museum of China, and iconic sites such as the Forbidden City and the Olympic Park, where they experienced the blend of tradition and modernity and the collision of history and the future.

The 4-day tour is a journey in education, technology and culture, providing the young talents from Hong Kong a better understanding of the development of the motherland and the charm of Beijing. Let's take a look at Beijing through the eyes of Hong Kong talents in the video!
