Amazon China launches first in-land bonded warehouse

Amazon China Global Store, Amazon's cross-border shopping platform for Chinese consumers, announced on Friday the launch of its first in-land bonded warehouse in the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot area in Ningbo, Zhejiang province.

This new bonded warehouse will provide enhanced delivery experiences for the upcoming Black Friday shopping season. It is designed to accommodate a diverse range of categories from Amazon China Global Store, including healthcare, beauty care, toys and apparel, the company said.

Chinese customers will enjoy a more convenient delivery experience. It is expected to save up to 10 days compared to direct international shipments, with the shortest delivery time being two days.

With strong policy support in the comprehensive pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce in Ningbo, a streamlined Customs clearance procedure and a flexible transit system, Amazon China Global Store aims to provide Chinese consumers with a more efficient and convenient international shipment experience.

Moreover, the Ningbo bonded warehouse will be connected to Amazon's global fulfillment centers, and offer millions of selections at faster delivery speeds.
