Solar project powers rural vitalization in Dezhou

To support the nation's efforts to invigorate rural areas, local units of the national electricity operator State Grid are powering up their green push to better services for companies and help improve livelihoods.

State Grid Dezhou Lingcheng Power Supply Co is among its units and has witnessed such efforts bearing fruits, as a project launched at Zhengjiazhai Town, Lingcheng district of Dezhou in Shandong province started operating recently.

The project, namely the Qianchao Brothers 20-megawatt solar power plant, is now being operated by technicians from the State Grid's unit.

The project is part of the company's push to provide customized services based on actual situations of local enterprises and development needs.

Since the operation started, the company made follow-up arrangements to conduct routine checks on photovoltaic equipment.

What makes the project in Zhengjiazhai Town special is that the town has long been engaging in agricultural businesses, whereas the industrial ones were barely developed.

The Qianchao Brothers 20 MW solar power generation project was built on farmland without harming normal agricultural planting, providing additional benefits to local farmers. 

To this end, special teams were organized by various enterprises to conduct on-site research and guidance in the town, which aims to not only promote local industrial development but also achieve win-win results.

The Dezhou Lingcheng unit is among such enterprises. With ties between the local authorities, the company managed to launch the solar power project, offering a new boon to locals and companies alike.

Such efforts also ushered in a new model for the development of photovoltaic usage, which improves the utilization value and efficiency of the farmland.

The company has strengthened local teambuilding to ensure their support for rural revitalization, said Ren Xiaomin, an official of Zhengjiazhai Town.
