HONG KONG -- President Xi Jinping met with John Lee, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, who was on a duty visit to Beijing, and made important instructions regarding the development of the HKSAR on Monday.

Xi's important speech has aroused enthusiastic reactions in various sectors of Hong Kong society.
