Livestreaming images are focus of new technology

The camera-screen industry has opened up to a wider market after innovative steps to enhance definition by Chinese brands such as DJI and Insta360.

Accessory market brands such as MOMA, Nanguang, Godox and Smallrig have also kept up with the global pace, accelerating the transformation of imaging equipment from traditional to smart and heading toward a bigger and more lucrative market.

And under the screening sector, there are various categories such as cameras, lighting, audio and talking equipment, which have given rise to a wide range of products such as drones, stabilizers, lights, microphones and so on to satisfy the new crowds and new needs.

In 2023, the professional film and television equipment brand MOMA has gained attention after developing a livestreaming camera.

“Two and a half years ago, we predicted that the business mode of selling goods through livestreaming would be very hot, but the professional camera has ausage threshold. People need to adjust the shooting angle and set the professional lighting standards; the mobile phone has a limitation on picture quality, and the wireless connection is also an issue, so we want to make a camera product specifically for livestreaming,” said Ma Qiang, co-founder of MOMA, adding that equipment supply lags far behind market demand.

With ten years of technical achievements, MOMA has more than 110 patented technologies, through self-research 5G wireless transmission protocol, imaging and audio and video processing technology.

In addition to the core imaging components, the camera will allow livestreaming at a lower cost.
