Hohhot reservoir welcomes thousands of migratory birds

Some 10,000 migratory birds have flocked to the Hailiu Reservoir in Tumd Left Banner, Hohhot, the capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Now that the ice and snow have begun to melt, flocks of ruddy shelducks, swans, and wigeons can be seen soaring in the sky or frolicking on the water, heralding the arrival of spring.
