Renowned as the "hometown of peonies," Shandong's Heze boasts the largest peony cultivation and research center in the world.

The city is home to 10 peony gardens, including the Caozhou Peony Garden – the largest and most diverse peony garden in the world. For those seeking a larger garden experience, the Chinese Peony Garden, covering an area of 1,200 mu (80 hectares), is a perfect choice. As a national 3A-level tourist attraction, the garden boasts over 900 varieties and 800,000 peony plants, alongside other seasonal flowers such as tulips, lavender, chrysanthemums, and wintersweet, ensuring a delightful floral display throughout the year.
