Fashion show heralds new season
French brand Hermes held a runway show at Shanghai's West Bund Museum to release its 2024 men's summer collection. Veronique Nichanian, artistic director of Hermes men's wear used the elegant lines of the spacious museum to highlight the models' attire.
The whole collection evoked the gentility of a summer breeze. Light overcoats, jackets, casual dress, shirts, featured innovative cuts and mild colors, matching the surrounding architecture.
The event gathered people from all walks of life, such as actor Wang Yang, chef Liu Hesen, Guo Fan who directed the box-office hit movie The Wandering Earth, dancer Liu Jia, Philip Tinari, curator and director of UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, architect Liu Yichun and skater Wu Dajing who won gold at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
