As summer heat fades away, Changbai Mountain in Northeast China's Jilin province unveils its vibrant autumn beauty. The season transforms the landscape into a stunning tapestry of colors, painting the mountains with fiery reds and golden yellows.

Known as the "Northeast Water Tower" and the source of three rivers, Tianchi Lake on the summit reflects the sky like a mirror, adding to the mountain's autumnal charm.

Changbai Mountain's vast, pristine forests take center stage during this season. The mountain's four distinct vertical climate zones create a rich variety of scenic beauty, from the colorful tundra at the highest elevations to golden birch trees and dark green conifer forests below.

North of the famous waterfall lies the serene Small Tianchi Lake, nestled within a forest of birch trees. The lake, also known as "Silver Ring Lake" for its halo-like appearance, has been featured in iconic Chinese films such as Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain and Journey to the West.

The Lushuihe Hunting Resort also comes alive in autumn, with wild deer and peaceful drifting on the Biquan River. Whether driving or cycling along the G331 Highway through Changbai's ancient forests, visitors can fully immerse themselves in the breathtaking autumnal scenery.
