State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company implementing insulation transformation to improve power supply reliability

"After the insulation transformation of this line, the safety operational level and power supply reliability of the line will be greatly improved, and the production and living electricity needs of power users along the line will be further met”, said Hao Tengyu, a specialist in the distribution network management department of State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company, at the insulation transformation construction site of the 10kV Dongjiao left and right lines in Jiaozuo city, Henan province.

It is understood that the line has been in operation for more than 20 years, and because of the bare conductors, there are great safety hazards. On that day, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company adopted a group operation method, invested more than 280 construction and management personnel, 29 operation vehicles, and renovated 46 poles and 3.6 kilometers of 10kV overhead lines. After the transformation, the contradiction between trees and lines was effectively resolved, the impact of external force damage on the safe operation of power supply facilities was reduced, and the "happiness" of residents' electricity use was improved.
