Colombian ambassador to China praises Guizhou's primitive Dong villages

On September 27, the “Discover China Cultural Tour” of Guizhou for Diplomats in China·Guizhou Village Super League event visited Rongjiang county, Guizhou province. Seven ambassadors and 24 diplomats from 15 countries, including Argentina, Croatia, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Peru, and Cuba, visited Dali Dong village and the Yi Shan Handmade Life Studio in Rongjiang county, Guizhou province.

Sergio Fausto Cabrera Cárdenas, the Colombian Ambassador to China, expressed high praise for the local primitive village landscapes and the intangible cultural heritage of the Dong Grand Song. He said, "This is a very beautiful place, where both the natural environment and cultural scenery have been well preserved. It is truly impressive."

Additionally, the ambassador mentioned that Colombia has many similar villages that are currently exploring rural revitalization. Guizhou's successful experience has been highly inspiring for them. "We can learn a lot from Guizhou, China, to bring new life to our ancient villages," he remarked.
